Crisis intervention, advocacy and community referrals for preventive/supportive services for families who decline admission of children to nursery facility. 24-hour parent helpline.
Eligibility criteria: parent must be a New York City resident; admitted children must be at risk of abuse/neglect. Children birth to 6 years admitted; children age 7 to 11 years admitted only with admission of sibling child under 7.
