- McMurray Clinic. Individual, group and family counseling for adults, adolescents and children, particularly those who are low-income, homeless and/or victims of
domestic violence. Treatment issues include parenting skills, substance abuse, domestic violence, and problems related to the transition between biological families and foster care. Information and assistance regarding housing, welfare and other services. Catchment area is all five boroughs.
- Women At Risk (WAR). Reaches out to women living with HIV and AIDS, especially those (such as lesbians, bisexuals, women of color, older women and substance abusers) who suffer from a lack of resources geared for their needs. Counseling, psychotherapy, case management; assessment/referral; psychiatric evaluation/treatment; support groups; workshops.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Payments accepted: Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, sliding scale.
Languages (other than English): Creole, French, Spanish.
